The Vislab is a part of
Academic Technologies, located in the 2East
tower of the Northwestern University
Library.
There is no adjacent parking lots, so we
suggest walking, if possible. Northwestern
University is located between downtown
Evanston and Lake Michigan. Directions to NU
and the vislab are provided below.

These are directions you can use once you reach the Chicago
area:
- Driving directions from the north/northwest (via I-88, I-90, I-190)
- Driving directions from the west (via I-94)
- Driving directions from the west/southwest (via I-55 or I-80)
- Driving directions from the south/southeast (via I-94, I-90, I-80, or I-57)

here by public transportation
Metra
- Take the "Metra/Union Pacific North Line" toward Kenosha.
- Get off at Davis St., Evanston.
- Make a left, turning east onto Davis St.
- Walk along Davis St. for one block to Sherman Ave.
- Make a left, turning north onto Sherman Ave.
- Walk through five intersections to
Foster St.
- Make a right on Foster and walk east
until you reach Sheridan Rd.
- In front of you, on the east side of Sheridan Rd., will
be Arthur Andersen Hall.
- Continue walking east past Andersen
Hall and the NU Library will be on
your right.
- Enter through the lower level and ask
at the main desk for the 2East tower.

Chicago Transit Authority (the "L")
- Take the "CTA Purple Line" north toward Linden.
- Get off at Foster St. make a right, turning east onto
Foster St.
- Walk two and a half blocks to Sheridan Rd.
- In front of you, on the east side of Sheridan Rd., will
be Arthur Andersen Hall.
- Continue walking east past Andersen
Hall and the NU Library will be on
your right.
- Enter through the lower level and ask
at the main desk for the 2East tower.
