The Mars 3D images and their use in education at Northwestern were featured in an article in the Daily Northwestern Newspaper on July 8, 2004.



June 2, 2004 - Northwestern University Residence Hall
Dr. Andrew Rivers, an advisor to a Northwestern University residence hall brought about 12 students to the Visalb during the reading week of the spring quarter. The students took an hour away from their studies to learn about Mars and see the 3D images from the Rover missions.



May 25, 2004 - Northwestern Astronomy 220
Professor Farhad Zadeh and his class, Astronomy 220 - Highlights of Astronomy will be paying a visit to the Vislab to learn more about 3D visualization an the Mars Exploration Rover mission.



May 5, 2004 - Northwestern Physics & Astronomy
On May 5, Dr. Doug Roberts, the Vislab Manager, gave a public lecture on Mars in Human History and the Mars Exploration Rover results as a part of the series hosted by the Northwestern Physics & Astronomy Department. April 22, 2004 - NU "Take your Daughter to Work Day"
On the second to last Thursday of April, the Vislab had several visitors from various Northwestern faculty and staff during the annual Society of Women Engineers Sponsored "Take your Daughter to Work Day."



February 26, 2004 - Northwestern Astronomy 110
Professor Michael Smutko, along with his Freshman Seminar Astronomy 110 - Evolving Perception of the Universe paid a quick visit to the Vislab.



February 9-13, 2004 - Northwestern Geology 110
Professor Susan van der Lee brought her class, Geology 110 - Exploration of the Solar System into the Vislab for a demo and info session on the Mar Exploration Rover Mission.



February 10, 2004 - The Roycemore School
The Fifth Grade class of the Roycemore Elementary School came to visit the Vislab to learn more about Mars and the Mars Exploration Rover Mission.
