Planetary Geology We have worked with the Center for Planetary Sciences to help them create a 3D visualization of the Eros 433 asteroid, which was the subject of the NEAR (Near Earth Asteroid Rendezvous) mission. This 3D component included a interactive 3D model, which could be rotated to expose the interesting parts of the asteroid. Clicking on the asteroid retrieved an image from the mission at the selected region.
